Job Purpose
The Assistant Systems and Planning Manager supports the Systems and Planning Manager in managing operational systems, dispatch coordination, and financial reporting. This role ensures the smooth functioning of systems, assists with troubleshooting, and provides data-driven insights to improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Accountability Areas
Systems Support & Maintenance
- Assist in maintaining Packsys base files and resolving system-related issues.
- Ensure timely updates to the marketing plan within Packsys.
- Perform stock reconciliations and assist with system audits.
- Oversee label printer setups and control room configurations.
Operational Excecution
- Ensure accurate and efficient order processing and packing instruction updates.
- Assist in staff management, training, and resource allocation.
- Support real-time monitoring and adjustments to optimize packing operations.
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Maintain accurate stock records and oversee daily dispatch operations.
- Assist with Titan and PPECB inspections and manage stock rejection processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication with logistics partners.
Financial Support & Compliance
- Support finance in data reconciliation for producer payments and cost evaluations.
- Assist in financial projections and report on production efficiencies.
- Validate and update Bill of Materials (BOM) in Packsys.
Data Integrity & Communication
- Ensure real-time data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Assist in weekly packout projections and validate data integrity.
- Support the communication and reporting framework to ensure stakeholder alignment.

- Experience In The Citrus Industry And Packhouse Environment: 2 to 3 years
- Marketing And Systems Administration: 3 to 4 years
- Technical Knowledge Of Various IT Systems And Platforms: 3 to 4 years
- Qualification in Project management, Business Systems or related field will be an advantage.
