What Youll Be Doing:
â?? Financial Management & Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial reports for property assets. Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processing, and general ledger maintenance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for property expenses. â?? Property Accounting & Compliance: Ensure accurate tracking of rental income, expenses, and property-related costs. Assist with lease accounting, tenant billing, and financial statements. Maintain compliance with IFRS, VAT, and local tax regulations. â?? Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with property managers, landlords, and tenants to ensure smooth financial operations. Work closely with the senior accounting team to support financial reporting processes.
What Were Looking For:
ð??? Education & Experience: Bachelors Degree Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2/3+ years of experience in property accounting, finance, or bookkeeping. ð??¡ Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MDA, MRI, Sage, or similar). Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. â?¨ Bonus Points For: Experience in the real estate or property industry. Knowledge of lease accounting and property management systems.
