Overview and Key Responsibilities
The Receptionist will be responsible for:
- Operating telephone switchboards and promptly answering calls.
- Maintaining a neat and professional reception area with a friendly atmosphere.
- Attending to visitors courteously and professionally.
- Creating and updating a database for product inquiries and calls.
- Sorting and distributing daily mail to employees.
- Sending internal mail and other items via courier as needed.
- Routing calls and documents to the appropriate employees.
- Assisting various departments on an ad hoc basis.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Matric qualification.
- Office Administration qualification (advantageous).
- 1-2 years of experience as a Receptionist.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English and good telephone etiquette.
- Customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer literacy.
