Saftey Company in Selby JHB, seeks the services of a Supervisor (Injection Moulding), for the manufacture of Hard Hats and other related safety equipment.
Introduction
We are looking for a Supervisor (Injection Moulding), for the manufacture of Hard Hats and other related safety equipment. You will be reporting to the Operations Manager. Must be able to work overtime or extended hours when required to meet customer requirements. Please note the candidate who has sober habits and is a non-smoker will take preference.
Duties & Responsibilities
1)Supervise, guide and coach all employees in the team
2)Monitor Productivity/Discipline of all staff to ensure that all staff meet and exceed company expectations and targets.
3)Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule/report to management of any maintenance needed.
4)Perform verification of production output according to specifications.
5)Prepare reports on performance and progress and to present them to Senior Management.
6)Train and guide employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
7)Enforce strict safety guidelines and Company standards.
8)Organize workflow by assigning responsibility to all staff on the team.
9)Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
10)Cycle times and quality checks need to be done.
11)Housekeeping standards are consistently met.
12) Must possess the ability to set and trouble shoot any technical issues to ensure machines are running throughout the day
13) Mould changes where necessary to facilitate customer requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
1)Matric/Grade 12
2)Must have prior supervisory work experience in Injection Moulding.
3)Strong supervisory skills.
4)Experience in Injection Moulding.
5)Must have flexible work availability.
6)Own reliable transport.
7)Non-Smoker.
8)Excellent communication skills in English.
9)Able to work in a team environment.
10)Able to prioritize, plan and execute duties.
11)Must have contactable references as references will be checked.
