Description:
REPORTING TO THE MANAGER, GROUP PROJECTSJOB PURPOSE:
To manage and co-ordinate projects from inception to completion. To plan, organise and manage all relevant resources to ensure the successful outcome of the project goals and objectives in order to meet project expectations.
JOB FUNCTION:
Define scope of project and generate plan accordingly
Coordinate and attend project meetings
Optimisation of project schedule on a weekly basis
Identifying risks relating to performance of the project
Monitoring of project progress
Successful completion of projects as per the contractual requirements
Adhere to ISO Quality Management System
Coordination of quality documentation as per the contractual requirements
A budget for each project is complied, monitored and updated
Controlling of costs and cost allocations
A monthly financial forecast is done for each project
Invoicing of milestones as per contractual requirements
Investigating non-payment of project invoices
Call reports are compiled and distributed for all site and/or sub-contractor visits.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:Tertiary qualification in Metallurgical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
Project Management qualification
10 years Project Management experience in a similar environment
Computer Literate- good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project)
Good command of the English language, good communication and people skills, ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and customer focused
