Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations
- Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Conduct reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts
- Manage tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax submissions
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with audits, liaising with internal and external auditors
- Ensure compliance with SAIPA and financial services industry standards
- Support risk management and internal control processes
- Handle financial administration and ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- SAIPA-registered Professional Accountant
- Minimum 2 years of post-article experience in financial services
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and financial reporting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, CaseWare)
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data
