Electronic Programming Technician

Description:

Our client, an electronics component manufacturer, is seeking to employ an Electronic Technician with a background design and programming of components used in communication systems, specifically using Python, C# and MySQL Please note: This role is only suitable to candidates with a background in electronic component manufacturing, as well as a strong aptitude for software development for production applications in Python, Visual Studio, C#, SQL databases and WinForms. KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed a qualification in Electronics, coupled with having 2-3 years’ experience in the process and production of electronic components, as well as programming software.
• You will have sound working knowledge of production line support, documenting work instruction and procedures, as well as providing maintenance to jigs and test equipment.
• You will have a proven background in production line changes, resolving production issues, quality monitoring, supporting peripheral equipment (routers, networks, etc), as well as providing up to date reports on production yields and training of operators.
• A knowledge of soldering, electrical circuits and electronic functioning is essential.
• The ability to work overtime is essential and also with flexibility to work occasional shifts in peak seasons if required.
• You will have had previous working experience in a fast paced and multi-faceted manufacturing environment.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record.

This role does require a candidate that is currently resident in Cape Town, due to the urgency to start, therefore only candidates within the region currently will be reviewed.
