Responsibilties
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
- Create and manage financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and review financial documents and statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and principles
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and personal assistant tasks
- Manage commercial property rental agreements and lease documents
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team
- Multitask and manage various financial tasks across multiple organizations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred), with Mathematics and Accounting at matric level.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an admin and accounts position, with prior experience in bookkeeping roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Pastel and Xero essential).
- Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general administrative skills (filing, scanning, document preparation).
- Experience with commercial property rental/lease agreements and managing multiple organizations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
