Description:
Join a construction supplier team as an Accountant in the Western Cape!
You’ll be responsible for stock reconciliation, journal entries, and assisting with stock takes. You’ll ensure invoices comply with SARS regulations and handle month-end and intercompany journals. Duties include managing hire purchases, maintaining a large fixed asset register, and calculating depreciation. You’ll also handle opening balance journals post-audit, reconcile internal loan accounts, and manage rental invoicing and collections. You’ll assist with yearly audits.
Requirements:
Applicants should be organised, adaptable, and possesses strong communication skills. You’ll need a BCom in Finance / Accounting (or similar) and completed Articles. A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience post articles is required, along with fluency in both Afrikaans and English. Additionally, you must have you own reliable vehicle.
