Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio Management: Establish, manage, and execute the IT portfolio in collaboration with key stakeholders. Align the portfolio with the IT and Business Unit (BU) strategy and ensure that strategic business objectives are met.
- Program Oversight: Manage all aspects of IT programs, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Track value contributions and objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks within the IT program and portfolio. Ensure smooth project delivery, addressing any scope changes, critical paths, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate progress and status to stakeholders through weekly and monthly updates. Provide detailed feedback and support for effective decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Collaborate to create integrated financial reports covering budgets, forecasting, and expenses, to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
- Leadership & Sponsorship: Provide active sponsorship and leadership for projects and programs, ensuring that they meet time, cost, and quality targets. Conduct evaluations to assess overall program success and areas for improvement.
- Project Assessment & Selection: Prioritize and approve projects, ensuring alignment with business strategies. Conduct feasibility studies and confirm decisions made by business units.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: IT/Business-related Honours Degree (Essential/minimum).
- Certifications: Agile Practitioner Certification (Essential/minimum) and Project Management Professional (PMP) or alternative project management certifications.
- Experience: In-depth knowledge of IT project delivery and methodology, as well as IT infrastructure.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
