Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead their IT department. As CIO, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring the security and efficiency of their systems, and leading a team of talented IT professionals. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the IT department, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Lead efforts in ensuring data security, managing cybersecurity risks, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work closely with other executive leadership teams to drive business growth through the use of technology.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for IT projects, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into IT solutions.
- Educational Qualifications: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A relevant cybersecurity qualification is essential.
- Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive-level role.
- Proven experience overseeing large-scale IT operations, managing complex IT systems, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Skills:
- Excellent administrative and organizational capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and managerial expertise with the ability to lead teams through change.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and IT governance.
