Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of their hotel’s kitchen. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service, and maintaining inventory and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, upholds exceptional culinary standards, and works effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.Please note this position is live-out. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and cooking of all meals, ensuring they meet the hotel's high standards.
• Manage, train, and schedule kitchen staff, ensuring they are well-equipped and motivated.
• Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain inventory and ordering systems to ensure sufficient stock levels.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that align with guest preferences.
• Ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, even during busy periods.
• Handle food costing and budget management, while optimizing the kitchen’s performance.
• Resolve any issues or guest complaints regarding food quality or service promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role in a fine dining or 5-star hotel environment.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for high-quality food.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
