Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Business Unit Coordinator to join their team in Pinetown

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with Safety Representatives and the HSE Coordinator to ensure departmental compliance with company Health and Safety policies.
  • Support the Material Controller in managing the movement of finished goods in and out of the department.
  • Assist in conducting accurate weekly stock takes of finished goods and consumables.
  • Oversee data reconciliation and capturing related to raw material control.
  • Maintain and update daily efficiency schedules.
  • Prepare and update weekly wage records and other production schedules.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required by the Production Team Leader and Executive.
  • Maintain the NCQR and CFAR registers, tracking trends and compiling statistical reports.
  • Submit and follow up on trials and associated ISIR requests.
  • Provide support with staff inquiries and general administrative queries

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:


  • Degree essential / ideally BCom Supply Chain
  • Maths or Accountancy passed in Grade 12 essential
  • 3 years' experience in an administrative type position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent administration skills
