Our client is a leading property and development firm specializing in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. They pride themselves on their high standards and dedication to providing sustainable, cutting-edge developments. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of property development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project cost management.
Duties include (not limited to)
- Prepare and review accurate financial reports in compliance with accounting standards
- Manage project financials, including cost tracking and variance analysis
- Collaborate with project managers to meet financial goals
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for developments
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Monitor cash flow and project financial performance
Education:
- Completed BCom Degree in a related field
- 3+ years accounting experience required
- Property industry experience beneficial
- IFRS experience required
