Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Renal Unit to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and best practices. Maintain and enhance operational efficiency within the unit. Oversee the management of both chronic and acute dialysis treatments. Ensure effective utilization of various dialysis machine types (e.g., Braun, Fresenius, Adcock). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain adherence to healthcare regulations and professional standards. Minimum Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Postgraduate Diploma in Nephrology Nursing OR a qualified Renal Technologist OR a Registered Nurse with a Post Basic Critical Care qualification and renal experience in both chronic and acute dialysis. At least 2 years of renal management experience. Management experience in private healthcare is advantageous. Proven leadership and people management experience within healthcare. Valid SANC or HPCSA registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification will be an advantage. Proficiency in computer applications. Valid drivers license and own transport.
