Description:
As the AMO Manager you will lead and oversee all aspects of our Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) division.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high-quality service standards and driving business success with 12 subordinates.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Oversee the daily operations of the AMO to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance business growth and operational effectiveness.
Manage and lead the AMO team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and accountability.
Ensure full compliance with SA Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) regulations and the companys approved Manual of Procedures (MOP).
Maintain and enhance quality management, safety protocols, and documentation standards.
Ensure that all aircraft maintenance and repair activities are completed to the highest standards.
Develop and implement effective systems and procedures for operational efficiency.
Drive customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ensure financial stability and profitability of the AMO.
Collaborate with company directors and other management team members to achieve business goals.
Essential requirements:
Matric (Grade 12).
Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role with a focus on people and process management.
Strong understanding of business and management principles.
AP License will be highly advantageous.
Proven ability to lead and build high-performing teams.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
Ability to think and operate at a strategic level while ensuring rapid and efficient task execution.
Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
