Sales Representative

Description:

Sales representatives present and sell products or services to organizations, businesses or government agencies. They contact potential buyers, present products and services, answer questions and discuss pricing.

Salary : negotiable + commision

Location: Witbank and Secunda

Responisbilities

• Generating leads • Meeting or exceeding sales goals • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients • Assist in determining price schedules for quotations, promotions and negotiations • Preparing weekly and monthly reports • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programmes • Understanding and promoting company programmes • Obtaining deposits and balance of payments from clients • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services • Maintaining client records • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability • Attending to job related administration • Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards. Safety: Apply Health and Safety Standards and Regulations Other : • Any other job related tasks as required from your Manager, Director or Financial Manager • All positions can be required to assist in another division or position, for career path reasons, multi skilling of employees and in-house promotion and training, as per management discretion. • The performance, quantity or/and quality of all duties, must be best of the ability of the employee, for the good of the business. • Attitude and loyalty toward the business is of utmost importance

Requirements:

• 2 years of relevant industry experience in Internal and/or External sales.
• Internal and/or External sales of welders, welding consumables, grinders, generators and other industrial tools.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle is required

Skills and Attributes: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly rapport with both customers and suppliers • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics • Excellent planning ability • Sound business acumen Minimun Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics or related fields Minimum Experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in sales. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
