Key Responsibilities:
Freight Operations – Break-Bulk / Intermodal
- Oversee the execution, preparation, and submission of operational administration, including cartage advice, credit control, permits, declarations, routing, and safety documentation.
- Manage shipment instructions from clients and execute them according to standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate transporters based on database availability, equipment type, and routing focus.
- Negotiate pricing with transporters to secure the best rates.
- Address and resolve pricing queries from both clients and transporters.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments within the transport management system.
- Monitor and track all shipments, ensuring continuous status updates to clients.
- Support transporters in resolving delays during loading and off-loading.
- Verify cargo measurements, weight, and quantities with transporters.
- Report discrepancies between recorded shipment details and transporter-provided information.
- Foster long-term relationships with transporters to enhance service reliability.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the transport/road freight industry (Non-Negotiable).
- Strong knowledge of various vehicle configurations and restrictions.
- High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office & Transport Management Software.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
