Job Description:
As a Recruitment/Talent Resources Consultant, you will report directly to and work closely with the MD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced white-collar permanent recruiter with a background in placing personnel into the Built Environment or Engineering sectors. The role will see you working within a small, profitable, and friendly business, supporting the Director and assisting in research, sourcing candidates for vacancies, and generating leads for recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify candidates for executive search assignments.
Build talent pools by sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, CRM systems, and job boards.
Conduct research to identify potential candidates.
Headhunt and source passive and actively looking candidates.
Regularly update candidate information in the database.
Create engaging candidate engagement programmes, including mailers and promotions.
Interview candidates to understand their skills, experience, and motivations for job changes.
Identify leads through candidate interviews and other channels to generate recruitment service opportunities.
Create and post engaging content for the company's website blog and LinkedIn page.
Ensure the company’s LinkedIn page is current and engaging.
Organize candidate groups in the database.
Assess incoming job applications.
Write and post job adverts on the company website and job boards.
Support the Director with ad-hoc administration and recruitment tasks as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in white-collar permanent recruitment, ideally within the construction or civil engineering sector, or at least a specialist technical recruitment background.Experience sourcing roles such as Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Site Managers.
Ability to independently manage candidate searches and operate autonomously.
Experience working in remote environments with excellent organizational skills.
Professional and confident communication, with a sales-oriented mindset being preferable.
Competent in researching, searching, and using LinkedIn and databases effectively.
Ability to generate and present new ideas.
Highly trustworthy, dependable, and a team player.
Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills.
