Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of monthly financial statements in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
2. Review and reconciliation of various accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
3. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as required by management
4. Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
5. Provide financial analysis and support to various departments within the organization
6. Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed
7. Keep abreast of accounting regulations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
8. Maintain documentation and records in accordance with company policies and procedures
9. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes
10. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification is essential
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
4. Proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
7. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
