Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
VAT & Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of VAT and tax returns in compliance with regulations.

Budget Preparation: Lead the development and management of financial budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Financial Forecasting: Prepare forecasts and analyze revenue trends to guide strategic decision-making.

Transaction Recording: Accurately record financial transactions and oversee the general ledger.

Balance Sheet Management: Maintain and manage balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Month-End Closures: Manage and perform month-end financial closures, including reconciliation and reporting.

Audit Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.

Risk Assessment & Internal Controls: Assess financial risks, implement and maintain strong internal controls.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies during monthly, quarterly, and annual closures.

Requirements:

A qualified accountant with a few years of accounting experience or an accountant with more experience who is still studying and about to be qualified.
Strong experience in VAT, tax, financial forecasting, and month-end processes.
Proven track record in managing balance sheets and financial transactions.
Ability to analyze financial trends and provide insights for business growth.
Experience liaising with external auditors.
Strong understanding of risk management and maintaining internal controls
