REQUIREMENTSAccounting degree Registered with SAIPA or ACCA with two years of experience thereafter Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll proficiency Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SARS E-filing proficiency English and Afrikaans Pro-Activity Teamwork Quality and Detail Orientation Coping with Pressures and deadlines Planning and Organising
DUTIES
Prepare invoicing schedule and project profitability (budget vs spent to date) Raise invoices Oversee capturing of invoices in Pastel Capture Debtor payments received and collect/ follow up on outstanding payments Oversee the creation of new projects codes and project folders Oversee folder in filing system to be created accordingly Oversee applying for credit limit for each client/ project Submit monthly declaration to insurance company Oversee capturing duties completed by the bookkeeper Calculate salaries monthly Oversee capturing of leave (sick, annual, unpaid) Submit EMP501 reconciliations Submit EMP201returns Management accounts Oversee external audit Calculate provisional taxes SARS Load bank payments weekly or monthly for release Update daily/ weekly/ monthly cashflow projections Managing general ledger Cashbook entries & bank reconciliation Petty Cash administration Preparation of monthly journals General bookkeeping administration Complete and submit returns for Dept of Labour and other government departments General office management duties maintaining an accurate filing system Filing and keeping office files neat Any ad hoc administrative duties
