Senior Accountant - Paarl

Our client in Paarl is looking for a Senior Accountant.The Senior accountant is responsible for maintaining the main client relationship and deadlines as well as managing team members to ensure the client financial controls and compliance runs smoothly.  Each Senior Accountant deals with a portfolio of clients, where various team-members provide services. I.e. Income Tax Compliance, Payroll, Cash Management and basic capturing are all performed by various team-members. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the management of the client and team deliverables as a whole.  Deliverables include managing client financial records, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.  This role requires advanced accounting knowledge and strong analytical skills. Skills & Qualifications:Â
Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Â
Typically 3-5 years of accounting experience with a solidÂ
understanding of accounting principles and practices.Â
Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Excel (advancedÂ
functions).Â
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the abilityÂ
to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
