Our client in Paarl is looking for a Junior Accountant.This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in accounting and finance, with opportunities for growth and development.The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, including the preparation of financial records, supporting month-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Skills & Qualifications:
A diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or working toward one
Previous internship or experience in an accounting role
Familiarity with Accounting software (Eg. Xero) and Excel
proficiency
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in handling
financial data
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and provide effective solutions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
Bank Reconciliation
Data Entry
Assist in Month End Closing
Tax Preparation support
Ad hoc tasks
