Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to shadow the current owner of our newly acquired IT company in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. The company provides IT-managed services to SMEs and the mining sector. The successful candidate will work closely with the owner for 3 years, learning the intricacies of the business, building relationships with clients, and preparing to take over complete management of the branch upon the owner’s departure.
This role requires a strong background in IT services, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage operations, client relationships, and team performance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to business management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Shadowing - Work closely with the owner to understand the company’s operations, culture, and client base. - Learn the specifics of the IT-managed services, particularly in the SME and mining sectors. - Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders. - Gain insight into the company’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability. - Assist the owner in day-to-day management tasks, including team leadership, project management, and service delivery. 2. Branch Management - Take full responsibility for the branch’s operations, including service delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance. - Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the business and expand the client base. - Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development. - Oversee the delivery of IT-managed services, ensuring compliance with SLAs and client expectations. - Monitor and manage the branch’s financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly in the SME and mining sectors. - Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.Requirements:
