Financial Accountant and IT Systems Coordinator

Description:

Our client, a well-established and progressive FMCG manufacturing company based in Paarl, seeks to employ a Financial Accountant, with a strong IT background, able to manage databases, IT systems and IT budgets, to join their progressive and expanding professional finance and IT team. Please note that this is a senior role, requiring a BComm degree and experience in database administration specifically in a financial department. Your background will either be in the manufacturing sector or from an audit environment, working with manufacturing clients and ERP super user status. KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have a tertiary qualification in BComm Degree (IT, Accounting, or related field), as well as 5+ years as a Database Administrator with IT and finance experience and managing projects to a successful end result.
• You will have experience in oversee IT infrastructure, database administration (SQL Server), and cybersecurity, as well as manage outsourced IT consultants and IT budgeting.
• You will have proven experience in maintaining financial records, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting, as well as handle tax/VAT filings, compliance, and assist with budgeting.
• In addition, your career will display experience in supporting company fleet management, insurance claims, and contract analysis.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
