Description:

We are seeking a Condition Monitoring Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment. This role involves monitoring machinery conditions, troubleshooting failures, and performing performance evaluations to ensure optimal operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventing mechanical failures and enhancing asset longevity through proactive maintenance strategies. Qualifications & Experience:
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification .
  • ISO-certified Vibration Analysis Category II .
  • Infrared Scanning Level 1 certification .
  • Tribology / Oil Analysis Level 1 certification .
  • Laser Alignment Training .
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in condition monitoring and maintenance, preferably in the water treatment industry .
  • Experience in compiling monthly condition monitoring trend reports .
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) .
  • Familiarity with VIBEEXPERT11 Vibration Analysis, FLIR E75 Thermal Imaging Camera, and FIXTURE Laser Alignment tools (advantageous).
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license (company vehicle provided for duty execution).
  • Ability to travel long distances and work after hours when required .
