Description:
Our client in Stellenbosch is looking for a Junior Cost Accountant.This person must be a team player and be able to focus in an open plan office and available to assist the team when needed. The Junior Cost Accountant will work closely with our Cost Accountant to ensure accurate product pricing and stock intakes of bulk wine, bank recons and general support. Qualifications and experience needed:3 â 5 years general cost and financial accounting and administration experience in a financial corporate environment
Experience in manufacturing industry will be beneficial
Previous experience in Business Central will be beneficial
Working experience in the Wine industry will be beneficial
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
team player
Ideal candidate will be responsible for: (not limited to)
Review accuracy of stock counts for all winehouses
Reconciliations & general Accounting
Creditor support
Compliance, Admin, Support and Reporting
Update of PORâe
Bulk Wine
