Logistics and Procurement Officer

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Procurement and Logistics Officer to manage orders, logistics operations, and supplier relationships. If you have a strong background in supply chain management and leadership skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities

• Process and follow up on orders (ZAPPR)
• Run reports and analyze data (MRP)
• Manage inbound shipments and update ETA
• Assist with import receiving and documentation
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing
• Plan, manage, and optimize logistics operations
• Negotiate contracts and shipping rates with providers
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control
• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
• Participate in stock takes (mandatory)

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Buying

Experience:

• 5+ years in procurement/logistics
• 2+ years in a supervisory/management role
  Skills & Requirements:
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  Must-Have: A valid driver’s license
